Defined scope. Clear fees. Practical next steps.
Intake
Tell us the question, transaction, deadline, and what is at stake.
Diagnose
We identify the facts, missing information, key risks, and the real decision to be made.
Scope
For substantive work, we define the deliverable, fee, assumptions, and exclusions before proceeding.
Advise
Kishan leads the analysis and final recommendation; specialists are coordinated when needed.
Good advice shouldn't disappear when the conversation ends.
Important ideas, answers, and next steps can get lost after a meeting or buried in a long email thread. We believe substantive advice deserves a clear written reference—not just another conversation.
For engagements that include documentation, we prepare client-facing advisory workpapers and written findings to capture the questions reviewed, our analysis, relevant options, and the actions that matter next.
Discuss
Understand the situation, goals, and questions.
Analyze
Research the facts, evaluate options, and explain implications.
Document

Revisit
Refer back to the written work when questions or decisions resurface.
Written deliverables, secure sharing, and access periods depend on the engagement. Internal firm workpapers are separate from the materials provided to clients.

Founder & Principal AdvisorKishan Patel
Tax and business advisory for individuals, owners, investors, buyers, and sellers facing consequential decisions.
Have a question worth analyzing before you act?
Tell us what happened, what decision is coming, and what is at stake. We review new matters for fit, urgency, and scope before accepting an engagement.
Clear expectations from the start.
Do I need to own a business to work with PTA?
No. Individuals and families can inquire about tax planning, property-related tax questions, a second opinion, or tax-focused analysis of an important decision. We review the request and define a suitable scope before starting work.
Can I engage you for one focused question?
Yes, where the matter fits the practice. A consultation or a defined research engagement may be more appropriate than an ongoing arrangement. We agree the scope, fee, assumptions, and deliverables before substantive work begins.
Will I receive something in writing?
Advisory workpapers, written findings, calculations, and action summaries are included when specified in the engagement. Those client-facing deliverables are separate from internal firm notes, and access follows the engagement and retention terms.
Where should I send tax returns or sensitive records?
Not through the public inquiry form or ordinary email. Use the secure client portal once the appropriate access and engagement process is in place. To start, provide only a brief description and any important deadline.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
Your inquiry is sent to the firm for review. We assess fit, urgency, and scope and contact you about the appropriate next step. Submitting the form does not create a client relationship or extend an agency deadline.
