About Kishan Patel
Patel Tax Advisors is deliberately principal-led. Clients work directly with Kishan on complex tax questions, transactions, tax problems, research, engagement strategy, and final recommendations.
Built around judgment and problem solving
Kishan founded Patel Tax Advisors to focus on work where careful analysis can materially affect a decision: tax planning, complex compliance, Texas tax matters, capital gains, business acquisitions and dispositions, real estate, research, and high-stakes financial questions.
Professional background
Kishan Patel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Accountancy from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Before founding Patel Tax Advisors, he worked as a Senior Tax Associate at RSM US LLP, gaining experience in a national public-accounting environment. Today, he brings that background to tax preparation, complex tax issues, business consulting, and practical financial decisions for business owners and individuals.
Patel Tax Advisors is an independently owned tax and business consulting practice, not a CPA firm and not affiliated with or endorsed by RSM US LLP. The firm accepts engagements within its permitted scope. When a matter requires attorney representation, a particular tax-agency credential, appraisal, securities advice, or other regulated expertise, an appropriately qualified professional is recommended or coordinated.
